HELD OVER -Pittsburghers can't get enough of the Toynbee Tile story. Many are tracking down the four mysterious tiles downtown themselves. Though most people don't even notice the cryptic messages embedded in the streets of many major American and South American cities. The urban legend goes back nearly thirty years. This fascinating documentary – recently SOLD OUT at the Three Rivers Film Festival – does an amazing job of tying the clues together like a great detective novel come to life. Self-taught artist Justin Duerr's obsession began by asking just what those ambiguous messages about resurrecting the dead meant.
